THE BLOG
There was a purpose to this blog when I first started it: I wanted to write mainly about literary pursuits, whether those diverged into film or TV or stayed in the book world. I wanted to review the writing that I found in multiple mediums. And I have done that. You can access any of my reviews here.
And then I began to realize that I missed having a place to be experimental or to write about something meaningful that was on my mind, so I branched out again and started writing posts about life, justice, sometimes controversial issues, and even faith in various places using several different tags.
And then, most recently, I fell in love with the Royals and wanted to start writing about baseball too.
So the point is, though I tried to force myself into a niche, I found I didn’t fit there. So I’ve decided that pretty much anything goes now. Enjoy.
ME
My name is Audra. I live in Kansas City, and I love dogs, baseball, urban life, books, and my husband (not necessarily in that order). I work as an editor, both full time and freelance. I sit on my porch a lot, even when it’s cold, and especially when it’s raining.
Hey! I found your blog from following you on Twitter. Since I’m an English nerd myself, I am excited to explore your blog. We can talk about books and the Royals now. Yay!
